IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation Website
The Geo-Intel Lab at IITTNiF is advancing research and innovation in Geodesy, focusing on building precise and reliable Geospatial Reference Frameworks that serve as the foundation for accurate mapping, surveying, and spatial analytics. Our initiatives are designed to strengthen India’s geodetic infrastructure and support emerging applications in navigation, remote sensing, and geospatial intelligence.
Our ongoing efforts include developing a Local Geoid Model, refining vertical and horizontal reference systems, and integrating GNSS, leveling, and gravity observations to improve positional accuracy at regional and national scales.
This platform integrates:
GNSS-based geodetic network establishment
Geoid modeling and orthometric height determination
Integration of satellite and terrestrial gravity data
Transformation between global and local reference systems
Real-time coordinate correction using CORS and PPP techniques
Key Features
Accurate geoid and height models for mapping and infrastructure development
Network adjustment and coordinate standardization for survey control
Time-dependent reference frame maintenance for dynamic applications
Validation with global models (EGM, ITRF, WGS84)
Support for precision agriculture, engineering, and hydrography
Data analytics and visualization tools for geodetic datasets
Who Can Use It?
This geodesy platform is designed for:
Survey of India and Geospatial Agencies
Smart City and Infrastructure Projects
Research Institutions and Universities
Transportation, Water Resources, and Urban Planning Departments
Private Surveying and Mapping Firms
Collaborate With Us
We invite government bodies, academic institutions, and industry partners to collaborate in strengthening India’s geodetic backbone.
